How to Renew Domains

To renew your domain, the following methods are available:

  • Online Invoices
  • Credit or Pre-paid Card
  • External Agent
  • Cheque/Bank Drafts

ONLINE INVOICES

If an invoice has been issued (which is generally issued a few weeks before the expiry date for a domain), you can view the invoice from menu Billing ⇒ Invoices , and pay them using the options displayed on the invoice page (e.g. domain credit, credit card, paypal, etc).

If no invoice is issued (e.g. for advance renewal), you can issue invoice yourself under menu My DomainsManage Domains and select the domains checkboxes and then choose "Invoice For Payment" action under "Perform Bulk Actions".

CREDIT or PRE-PAID CARD

From menu Billing ⇒ Pay Domains, you can pay directly for a domain using prepaid card or credit card.

EXTERNAL AGENT

You can ask an external agent (ISP, Reseller, Domain registration company, etc) to pay for your domains on your behalf.

CHEQUES

Please make cheques payable to 'PKNIC (PVT) Ltd' and write your .PK account number (or domain name for renewal only) on the back of the cheque. Please also print and include the payment slip with your payment. Your payments may be sent as under:

Please allow 2-3 working days for cheques to arrive. Please note that no cash payments are accepted at PKNIC.

 

How to Renew

Expiring domains may be renewed using the methods listed on this page.

For domain registrant based in Pakistan, a domain fee of Rs 1600 per year will be charged for .pk domains.

For domain registrant or their registrar located outside Pakistan, a fee of $15.99 per domain per year is charged.

The fee is charged on a biennial basis (two year period) and can be paid up to a maximum of ten years.
